Applications are invited for the Cockpit Arts / NADFAS Award which aims to
help a talented designer-maker to set up in business for the first time.
This Award is worth £3,000 and will contribute towards the cost of renting a
studio at Cockpit Arts (Holborn, WC1 or Deptford, SE8) and professional
development services for one year. The award is for a designer-maker
practising a traditional craft requiring skills at risk of dying out.  This
might include such crafts as paper conservation, building crafts, or
conservation of textiles, books or other items.  Further information
